God’s Glory To Love The Unworthy

Do I need to be good to know God?

Have you ever wondered whether or not God would accept you? Depending on how you might feel about yourself will probably determine how you respond.

The Bible, however, answers the question for us in a rather surprising way.  It says that no one is “good enough” by their own worth to come to God. But through the work of Jesus, God loved unworthy people. That is why Jesus matters.

Pastor Jonathan explains that to understand why Jesus matters, you must understand the following principle:

“The Glory of God is to love the unworthy.”

To help apply this principle, He unpacks Ephesians 1:3-6 in his new series: “The Journey Ahead.”
