We’re followers of Jesus, our saving King.
In our modern world, all kinds of choices are competing for our loyalty. Whether it’s an influencer, a politician, or our favorite brand, we face thousands of messages a day that want our attention. But there is one voice that matters most: the calling of Jesus.
“Our vision is to see people thrive in Christ by cultivating
compassion, justice, and love
in our homes, neighborhoods, and city.”
His life, death, burial, and resurrection changed the world. And he calls his followers, which means you and I, to continue this world-changing enterprise by encouraging people to become followers of Jesus! That is our vision. We want to see people not just restored but thriving in life through loyalty to Jesus!
We’re a church family
Kids belong in worship
Even if your kids are fidgeting, crying, or bored, we think they belong! Why? We’ve noticed part of the reason why people have left the Christian faith is because when they were kids, they were taken out of worship and placed in children’s church.
We want to change that model.
How can children learn if they’re not in the service? Because so much faith is taught and caught, children need to experience worship.
So we encourage you to bring your children into our service and don’t worry if they move around. Afterall, they are kids!
From the youngest to the most seasoned
James said, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction” (1:27).“
Through our partnership with Oakmonte Village, a senior living facility in Heathrow, we offer a Sunday afternoon service for their residents. They meet at 1:15 PM in the Community Room inside the main facility! Outside visitors are welcome and the residents love it too!
What is Sunday Morning like?
We’re so glad you asked. Redeemer grew out of the Episcopal and Anglican traditions. That means we follow ancient Christian practices like following a liturgy, singing, reading and listening to scripture, praying for ourselves and others, and concluding with Holy Communion.
